    I had some down time this week.

    I wasn't busy and could relax.

    My cortisol levels rise when I see my boss.

    I love exercise. It helps to boost my endorphines.

    I think sleeping is the best remedy.

    What did you do this week? Same old.Eat, sleep, work, repeat.

    This week was tiring so I slept a lot.

    There are many entitled consumers at work.

    I feel stressed

    I walk around my neighbourhood.

    I have a much better work-balance than five years ago.

    I am stressed because my boss is stressful.

    I am a much fitter than before.

    My diet is more balanced now.

    I'm enjoying it much more.

    It was far more relaxing than I expected.

    I take decisions much more calmly.

    yoga is helping me get a bit fitter.

    What kind of things do you do to reduce stress?

    How has your life changed?

    I go to beauty clinics and get a facials. I look and feel much better than before.

    I try understand human behaviour and people who make me stressed.

    I try not to worry about little things.

    It's a great way to fill my time.

     

    They got married in real life.

    It was fun and entertaining.

    It wat a very realistic drama.

    they are real chefs = talented cooks

    It was scary.

    It was intriguing(아주 흥미로운) = a fresh idea

    It was absorbing/gripping/fascinating

    I'm not into cooking shows. Korean TV shows are easier to understand.

    long-standing = long-running

    world-famous = very well-known

    The premise = The concept = The basic idea

    take on a variety of culinary challenge = chanllenge themselves to make new dishes 

    contestants = competitors = participants

    is eliminated = goes home = is knoked out

    crowned = wins the competition = is declared the winner

    Another reason I enjoyed show = on more reason for liking the show was 

    All in all = To sum up = In general

    caught my interest = grabbed my attention

    On the other hand = On the flipside

     

    We are a close-knit family.

    I'm looking out for you. / I'm rooting for you.

    On a regular basic = Regulary...I meet about from 5 to 7 people in person.

    I'm very close to my family...we feel like friends. = We considet each other to be friends.

    My family are another version of me.

    Ties/Connections are weakening.

    Due to social media....family relations are becoming looser = less close

    We can write personal letters / send meaningful texts...and give gifts

    We can treat them to a nice meal.

    We can console / comfort them with gestures / kind words.

    We can encourage them....by sharing our advise/experience.

    We can listen carefully / be a sounding board for their ideas.

    In sose cases...we migh lend or give money as gift if they have finacial problem.

    We can congratulate them.

    We can celebrate their sucesses together.

    He/she makes me feel relaxed/comfortable.

    I feel completely at home with him/her.

    He/she gives me good/sound/constructive advice.

    outgoing vs. shy/reserved

    moody = temperamental

    down-to-earth = natural = easy-going

    nosey = over-curious = inquisitive

    a few times a month = every other week = once every 2 weeks

    from time to time = when we get time = evry now and then

    we haven't seen each other for a while now

    We shre the same interests.

    On of my best friends is from high school.

    We used to work...so we saw each other every day.

    He is a very friendly and witty person.

    He has a good personality.
